About

This project aims to enhance IT troubleshooting skills through augmented reality (AR), allowing students to engage with real-world scenarios and practice their skills in an immersive environment. The accompanying instructor guide offers setup instructions for creating the AR experience, while this site provides a hands-on platform for students to interact with AR markers.

This project is provided as-is and free to use. The website and instructor guide were designed and developed by Dominique Thomas.

Icons used for the AR markers were provided by Flaticon.

Finish

Are you ready to finish troubleshooting? Note that once you finish, you'll no longer be able to access the AR markers, and you'll present your findings.

Welcome to TroubleshootAR

In this troubleshooting exercise, you'll inspect the physical network setup and use visual clues to diagnose potential issues. You'll see Augmented Reality (AR) markers placed around the room. Use these markers to bring up a checklist to help you identify the potential issues in each area.

Once you've gathered all the necessary information, you can click the Finish button at any time to present your findings to your classmates or instructor.

During the exercise, you may be prompted to grant access to your camera. You'll only need to do this once. Click here to see an example.
